Wolvhammer

Wolvhammer describes its music as "lo-fi, whiskey-drenched hate anthems for the wretched and unwashed" and that description is pretty apt. Based in Minneapolis, the four-piece mixes elements of hardcore punk into its nominally black metal assault. Refusing to drape itself with fantasy-laden artifice, the proudly blue collar band writes songs directing its ire at every government and religion, as well as society as a whole.
