Bhi Bhiman

San Francisco-based singer/songwriter Bhi Bhiman has become quite the icon for the Bay Area, with many critics lauding him as the next Bob Dylan or Randy Newman - the first-generation Sri Lankan version, that is. Strumming traditional sounding folk ballads on his guitar, Bhiman champions social causes in a clear tenor, but does so with wry wit and sarcasm, preferring to drive a point home with humor rather than aggression. Winning over audiences all along the West Coast with his live sets - consisting solely of Bhiman, his guitar and his powerful voice - the musician continues to gain critical acclaim and a rapidly growing fan base.
