Jeff Lofton is a jazz trumpeter, band leader and composer from Austin, Texas who gained a substantial amount of recognition amongst jazz lovers for his skills on the trumpet, leading many to proclaim Lofton as the true successor to jazz legend Miles Davis. Since 2008, Lofton has been performing throughout the US, gradually increasing his reputation as a jazz musician, and in 2009, with the release of his album Jazz For the People, Lofton has received the widespread recognition he deserves--effectively ensuring the prodigious trumpeter a chance at jazz immortality as a result.
