Green & Wood is a stoner rock/doom metal band from Los Angeles that has been praised for succeeding where most similar bands in the genre fail--in crafting songs that focus on content as opposed to long rambling riffs that leave the listener wondering what it is they're listening to. Moreover, however contradictory it may sound, Green & Wood performs its music with such vim and vigor that many tend to question how dark and dreary music can be performed by a band can be when its members have so obvious a love for doom metal. However, despite this strange combination of motives, Green & Wood looks to be one of the biggest up-and-coming acts amongst doom metal's newest generation of harbingers.
