Formed by Los Angeles native Zak Glosserman and British-born vocalist Joe Dexter, Orange is a pop punk band that combines pop melodies into a solid punk rock sensibility. The band quickly found an audience in the emo scene of the early 2000s, among fans who came of age listening to acts like Blink 182, and wasted no time assimilating itself into the national scene. Orange released its debut LP, Welcome to the World of Orange, in 2005 on Rancid front man Tim Armstrong's imprint, Hellcat Records. The band went on to embark on several international tours, returning to the UK multiple times in the early 2010s to appease its rapidly growing following, and continues to release new material, such as its 2011 EP, Dead Sexy.
