Contemporary dance, theater and concerts are some of the cultural events held during the summer months in the Festival Grec. Much of the theater takes place in the Greek amphitheater on Montjuc- the chance to see a play in this fabulous open-air theater shouldn't be missed. The city's streets fill up with wandering artists, performing music, plays and monologues to the public. Some of the other venues include include: Poble Espanyol, Mercat de les Flors, Palau de la Música Catalana, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and L'Auditori.
