Sylvan Esso is a Durham, North Carolina-based avant-pop duo comprised of vocalist Amelia Meath and producer Nick Sanborn. Building groove-based tracks full of thumping synth lines and ethereal instrumentals, Sanborn is able to create an textured sonic tapestry for Meath's fluttering voice to float over.
