Formed as King George in 2009, the four-piece band changed its name to San Cisco but continued to make the same brand of indie pop music. Wasting no time with unnecessary polishing and production, the band creates lo-fi garage pop with sunny hooks and raw vocals. San Cisco's debut EP Golden Revolver is a five-song effort that earned substantial time on the airwaves of Australia's leading alternative music station. As the EP's title track garnered critical acclaim from fans and industry folk alike, the band began to play prominent festivals around its home country and released its follow up record, the Awkward EP, in 2012.
