It seems like everyone in Calgary is on Fourth Street for the city's largest street festival. The mayhem begins at noon with a parade, and the street is jammed with street performers, local musicians, face-painted children, dog-walkers and drumming hippies until the festival ends at dusk. Local artisans ply their wares on street-side tables and the neighborhood's many restaurants offer food samples to the hungry crowds. Bring the kids, some coins for the buskers and an umbrella, as it invariably rains every year. This is a free event.
