Paulusma plays a kinetic show of songs accompanied by Jon Thorne (Lamb, Yorkston Thorne Khan) on upright bass. Together they can play a 30- or 70-minute set of songs from Paulusma?s six albums to date released since 2004 on Bjork?s label One Little Independent. The musical connection between Paulusma and Thorne is something to behold; together they swoop and glide through songs from all of Paulusma?s albums, the latest of which Thorne has also recorded with Paulusma. Combining bawdy humour and anecdotes with extraordinary songs that touch on love, loss, grief and philosophical enquiry, Paulusma and Thorne lead their audiences on a journey of laughter and tears.
