The Paddy's Day Plunge is one part annual Portland tradition and another part fundraiser. Portland residents gather at the East End Beach to jump into the ice-cold waters early in the morning. Immediately after, registered jumpers are invited to the pub for a warm breakfast, where a raffle will be held and an award will be given to the jumper who raises the most money at the event.
