Silly is a rock band that was formed in East Germany in 1978. Led by female vocalist Tamara Danz, the band became one of the country's most popular music acts in the 1980s. After Danz's death in 1996, Silly disbanded after 14 years until 2005, when the surviving members began to perform again with several guest singers. The band eventually chose Anna Loos to front the project and released Silly's first studio album since 1996's Paradies. Titled Alles Rot, the record reinvigorated the original Silly fan base and became the band's best-selling effort to date.
