John Primer is a blues guitarist who cut his teeth on the 1970s Chicago blues scene. Influenced by blues greats Sammy Lawhorn and Willie Dixon. Primer would serve time in the Muddy Waters band unter Waters death in 1983. Having kept busy over the years with an active touring schedule and regular album release cycle, Primer has built a reputation as being one of the greatest Chicago blues musicians alive.
