Frank Goosen is a German cabaret artist and writer who got his Masters degree in politics a Ruhr University Bochum before teaming up with his long-time friend Jochen Malmsheimer as a comedy duo. The two won the 1997 Prix Pantheon, a German cabaret award, before the eventually parting ways for solo careers. Goosen has since taken up writing and has published several novels, including his most widely read work Learning to Lie, which was adapted for the big screen in 2003.
