Imagination Movers is a band from New Orleans that creates a style of music that's made for children and infants. The group was organized in 2003 by four talented musicians from The Crescent City and shortly after formation it pitched the idea of a kid's television show to network executives at the New Orleans PBS affiliate. Unable to turndown an educational, family-family, music act, The Imagination Movers were commissioned; and by having a show on the air in Louisiana, along with intermittent touring, the group managed to build a regional reputation for itself. With all the success the band was having, in 2005, Disney took notice and undertook negotiations to bring the Imagination Movers to the company's roster of talent. By 2008, the quartet released its first nationally available album, Juice Box Heroes, and started syndication with its own 30-minute long program on the Disney Chanel. Since then, the Imagination Movers has become a beloved act by children and parents alike, who appericiate the band's respectable adherence to education that shines forth in the group's music.
