Steven Curtis Chapman is a singer/songwriter and musician who began creating contemporary Christian music in the late 1980s. Since releasing his debut album First Hand, in 1987, he has become one of the most recognized performers in the genre. Throughout the 1990s and well into the 2000s, he has collected several Grammy Awards and over 50 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, more than any other artist in history. Chapman released his 18th full-length album, The Glorious Unfolding, in 2013.
