The Fort Wayne TinCaps is a minor league baseball team based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana that competes in the Midwest League's Eastern Division. Founded in 1993, the team has acted as a Class A affiliate to major league teams including the Minnesota Twins and the San Diego Padres. Having won its first league and division title in 2009, the TinCaps has proven itself to be more than just a minor league team that produces talented players who go on to have successful careers in the big leagues.
