Corinne Bailey Rae is a singer/songwriter from Leeds, England who blends together a number of styles including soul, R&B, jazz and blues to create a unique and extremely listenable sonic amalgam. She released her debut self titled album in 2006 and became the fourth female musician in British history to have her first LP debut at number one.
