This camp session is appropriate for children entering 3rd grade through 6th grade.
It's time to celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympics! During this summer camp, kids will participate in kid-friendly Olympic events like the lighting of the ceremonial torch, relay races, long jumps, a paper airplane challenge, interpretive dance, and so much more! We'll learn about different countries, watch clips from this year's Olympics in Paris, collect gold medals, and end the week with a closing ceremony.
Camp days are Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2, from 9am - 3pm each day.
Sample camp schedule: 9-10am: Arrival, snack, and morning activity10-11am: Olympic event11am-12pm: Lunch & quiet activity12-1:45pm: Playtime at SMSA playground & Olympic event1:45-2:15pm: Artmaking2:15-2:55pm: Snack & playtime in the museum3pm: Pickup
Children must bring their own snacks, lunch, and beverages to camp each day.
Pricing:Museum Members: $210 per child per weekNot-yet-members: $225 per child per week
