Donovan Woods is a Canadian folk musician who manages to build on the rich North American folk tradition with gentle songs filled will storytelling lyrics. Woods released his debut album, The Hold Up, in 2007 and although he has released since released additional well-recieved albums, Woods has primarily built his career on the back of his live performances, where he's in natural form, working his way through his richly narrative song catalogue.
