Scott H. Biram is a Texas-based musician who has been in a number of different bands over his long and storied career. Prior to embarking on his solo career, he was in a punk band, as well as a few bluegrass outfits. His debut LP was released in 2000 and traces of blues, punk rock and Americana are evident on the album. Though Biram's early career was fairly respectable, it wasn't until the singer/songwriter was in a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler that his true musicianship started to emerge. The experience gave Biram some affliction to play off of and the physical pain the Texan experienced shone brightly through his doleful songs.
