Laura Abela, known by her stage name L'Aura, is an Italian singer, songwriter, pianist, violinist and composer. Her first album, Okumuki, on which she sung in both Italian and English, was released in 2005. The following year, L'Aura performed her song "Irragiungible" at the Festival di Sanremo, a popular Italian song contest. This gig, along with her sensual voice and skillful instrumentation, brought her success on Italian music charts. After the 2007 release of her second album, L'Aura began participating in music festivals, including Heineken Jammin Festival, and opening for acts such as Ben Harpe and R.E.M. She released her first EP, Sei Come Me, in 2010.
