French actress and comedian Anne Roumanoff is known not only for her stand-up career, but for her roles on both French film and television. She first earned recognition as a humorist on the television show Rien à Cirer, in 1991 and is now hosts a regular comic news segment on the popular show Vivement Dimanche. Roumanoff had first taste of international recognition with her one-woman show Follement Roumanoff, which had a 13-month run her at the Bobino Theater in Paris before she took it on the road for a national tour and an overseas leg in Quebec.
