The year 1998 was the beginning of a new music cult initiated by Rupam Islam and talented musicians of Kolkata. Fossils, as they named this inception, created a rage across the state with their hard rock music enmeshed with blues, grunge and psychedelia tones. They successfully waded through several lineup changes, released five albums and gave a power-packed performance in 2012 at Las Vegas. The band has actively engaged in AIDs and HIV awareness with the release of their 2006 album, Aeka Nauo, and being a part of social campaigns. Seems like the band's success will not let them turn into fossils.
