A View From The Bridge is a theatrical production written by the legendary playwright Arthur Miller. In two acts Miller unfolds the plot of a family drama set in a working class Italian borough near the Brooklyn Bridge. In most productions, the character Eddie breaks the fourth wall to narrate the story to the audience. Eddie is a man who works at the docks in New York and runs into conflicts with a fellow longshoreman named Marco, who is constantly trying to show off his strength. Most theater scholars speculate that A View From The Bridge is Arthur Miller's adaptation of a classic Greek tragedy.
