Summer Camp at the Garden 2024Summer fun is blooming at the Garden! Our nature camps are dedicated to connecting kids with nature. These day camps for kids aged 4-12 offer a week full of nature crafts, games, and explorations led by one of our expert Garden Guides. June 3-7: Around the Garden in Five Days, Ages 4-5 (Half Day, 9 am-12 pm)June 10-14: NSI (Nature and Science Investigation) - Session 1, Ages 6-9 (Full Day, 9 am-3 pm)June 17-21: Puzzling Pollinators, Ages 6-9 (Full Day, 9 am-3 pm)June 24-28: Pollinator Pals, Ages 4-5 (Half Day, 9 am-12 pm)July 8-12: Botanical Biomes, Ages 10-12 (Full Day, 9 am-3 pm)July 15-19: Rainforest Romp, Ages 4-5 (Half Day, 9 am-12 pm)July 22-26: NSI (Nature and Science Investigation) - Session 2, Ages 6-9 (Full Day, 9 am-3 pm)Cost per Week:Half Day, 9 am-12 pm: $225 MBG Members/$250 Non-MembersFull Day, 9 am-3 pm: $270 MBG Members/$300 Non-MembersCamp Descriptions:Around the Garden in Five DaysAges 4-5June 3-7, 9 am-12 pmLet your kiddos explore the natural world this summer! This camp repeats on July 22-26.$270 MBG Members/$300 Non-MembersPuzzling PollinatorsAges 6-9June 17-21, 9 am-3 pmCurious about birds, bats, butterflies, & bees? Campers will learn the ins & out of pollinators during National Pollinator Week through games, crafts, & activities. Join us to unfold the mysteries of these puzzling pollinators! $270 MBG Members/$300 Non-MembersPollinator PalsAges 4-5June 22-28, 9 am-12 pmBirds and bats and butterflies, oh my! We’ll keep your little camper busy as a bee with crafts & games as they get the buzz on pollinators during this fun week at the Garden.$225 MBG Members/$250 Non-MembersBotanical BiomesAges 10-12July 10-14, 9 am-3 pmJoin us for an eco adventure at the Garden this summer! Climb, wade, explore, splash, and get your hands dirty while exploring the different biomes at the Garden.$270 MBG Members/$300 Non-MembersRainforest RompAges 4-5July 15-19, 9 am-12 pmLet your little one discover the rainforest this summer without leaving Memphis! Campers will play jungle games and take a walk on the wildside as they learn about the plants and animals that make up this exciting ecosystem.$225 MBG Members/$250 Non-MembersNSI (Nature and Science Investigation) - Session 2Ages 6-9July 22-26, 9 am-3 pmCampers will get up & close and personal with flora & fauna as they explore mysteries of the natural world at the Garden through fun games, crafts, & activities. This camp is a repeat of the June 10-14 session.$270 MBG Members/$300 Non-MembersSummer Camp Policies and General Information:REGISTRATION DEADLINEThe enrollment deadline for each camp is two weeks before camp begins. Class size is limited, so register as soon as possible. Camps subject to being canceled due to low enrollment.CANCELLATION POLICY50% refund if canceled two weeks in advance. No refund if canceled less than two weeks before the first day of camp. WHAT TO BRINGHalf day (9 am-12 pm) campers will have snacks provided. They may wish to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellant. Full day (9 am-3 pm) campers will need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle. They will be outside for most of the day so they may also wish to bring sunscreen and insect repellent. A snack will be provided.DROP-OFF & PICK-UP POLICYDrop-off begins at 8:50 am, and pick-up ends at 3:10 pm. Please be sure to sign your child in & out on the roster each day. Due to our staff’s busy schedule at this time of year, please understand that there will be no childcare provided before or after camp. Early drop-offs and late pick-ups will be subject to a fee of $5 per minute for the first five minutes and $1 per additional minute. Your child will not be able to attend camp until this fee is paid in full. Please inform any other authorized persons of this policy, as you will be responsible for their compliance. Before and aftercare is not provided. Children may not be dropped off earlier than 10 minutes before the camp start time and must be picked up no later than 10 minutes after the camp ends.Have questions about Summer Camp?
