Away from the crowds of tourists, we follow the color trail by bike, first along the Isar and then through the former working-class district of Giesing to the slaughterhouse district.
In the colder season (from November) you can walk and take public transport through Berg-am-Laim, the district from which the bricks of the Frauenkirche come, to the Werksviertel on the site of the former Pfanni factory.
