When Bernard Allison grew up, his well respected guitar playing father played for his child the countless blues greats. Amongst this list of notable musicians was Otis Rish, T-Bone Walker, Lightnin' Walker and B.B. King, along with others. Young Bernard must have known that playing the blues was in his blood, and that he eventually would become an adept guitar player, but he decided not to pick up a guitar until he was good n' ready. When he finally did pick up a six-string, he was already an accomplished player and soon found a fervent fan base that continues to dish out its hard earned cash to witness one of the greatest living blues guitarists whenever he swings through town.
