Banda el Recodo is a group from Mazatlan, Mexico that makes a style of music that blends together elements of banda and ranchera music into a cohesive sound. Releasing its self-titled debut album in 1958, the group has undergone a number of lineup changes and evolutions in style over its decades long existence but it has continued to release albums and tour frequently, helping it endear itself to the Mexican listening public as one of the more stalwart banda and ranchera acts.
