The Brooklyn Bridge is a doo wop outfit from New York City that was formed in 1968 by the late John Mastrangelo. Formerly known as Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge before its front-man's death in 2010, the band released its debut album Brooklyn Bridge, in 1968, featuring its most recognizable song, a cover of Jimmy Webb's "The Worst That Could Happen." With a combination of smooth, jazzy vocals and a full horn section, The Brooklyn Bridge earned a dedicated fan base with its own pop and rock-infused R&B flavor and continues to spread its music with live performances.
