Hailing from Red Lion, PA Halestorm is a rock band that was formed in 1998 by the brother and sister pair Lzzy and Arejay Hale, who began writing songs together when they were 13 and 10, respectively. With their father on bass, Lzzy and Arejay released Halestorm's debut EP Don't Mess With the Time Man in 2000, before bassist Josh Smith and guitarist Joe Hottinger joined the lineup in 2003. Shortly after releasing its 2012 album The Strange Case Of..., in 2012, Halestorm made history as the first female-fronted band to take the number one spot on the active rock chart for its song "Love Bites... (So Do I)."
