Zachary Richard is a folk singer/songwriter and poet who is known for his blend of Cajun and Zydeco styles. Born and raised in Louisiana, he's carried the traditional folk music of his home into new generations with his vast catalog of records. Since his 1972 debut album, High Time, he's continued to release music while also publishing books of poetry, such as 2007's Télésphore et 'Tit Edvard dans le Nord.
