You may have heard about the Hallmark-like movie in development in Otsego County called A Cooperstown Christmas. The producers, actors and writers of the project are holding a Christmas in July concert fundraiser Sunday, July 7, at the Lake House in Richfield.
The show will benefit the making of the movie and every ticket buyer can register to be an extra in the film!
Dan Toth and his band Audio Riot, King Konye, and Kathook the Band will be performing.
Doors open at 2 pm, with the show beginning at 3 p.m. and ending about 7:30 p.m.
There will be a best Christmas costume contest, with the winner getting a featured extra role in the movie.
Food and drinks available for purchase at the Lake House's restaurant and bar.
Event is rain or shine, but acting registrations will be good for paid acting roles on A Cooperstown Christmas (roles not guarenteed), as well as shared with Film Otsego for use in other paying movie and/or TV acting gigs that cast locally.
Leatherstocking Trolley will run from 1:30 to 8:00, with pickup and drop offs in Cooperstown (on the half hours) and Richfield (on the hours).
