The Utah Grizzlies is an American ice hockey team that competes in the ECHL. Founded in 1988, the team plays its home games at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. The franchise was one of the founding teams in the East Coast Hockey League and changed names and cities several times before settling as the Utah Grizzlies in 2005.
