Mason Ramsey is a singer from Golconda, Illinois who rose to prominence in 2018 after a video of him singing Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues" in a Walmart store went viral. With the video garnering over 25 million views within the span of a few days, Ramsey would subsequently go on to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, perform at Coachella and release his debut EP, Famous, on July 20, 2018.
