Openair St.Gallen is one of the biggest music festivals in the country. It was founded in 1977. The inaugural event was focused on Swiss music, but shortly after that the festival started racking up international headliners. Nowadays Openair St.Gallen stocks its lineups with world-renowned alternative rock acts. Past guests of the festival include Nine Inch Nails, Placebo, and 30 Seconds to Mars.
