Based on Jane Austen's beloved novel of the same name, Pride and Prejudice is a stage production that tells the story of Elizabeth Bennet, a strong-willed woman who she struggles with societal exectations as well as her own set of presumptions. Set in a fictional town near London, the show begins when the Bennet family receives news that a wealthy bachelor named Mr. Bingley has arrived in town. A critique of the behavior, customs and values of 19th century England, the story moves forward as Elizabeth finds herself in a social tangle with the help of her four sisters and the proud Mr. Darcy.
