Discover this sumptuous historic residence, which served as a home to Napoleon Bonaparte and later the Empress Marianne Caroline of Austria. The mansion still retains its original frescoes and furnishings and during your visit you'll see the 30 rooms that made up the luxurious living quarters of the piano nobile (the noble floor). Amongst the many rooms, don't miss the Napoleonic flat. The French emperor's room is rich in treasures, including a grandiose four-poster bed surmounted by the emperor's initials, splendid coffers, monochromes narrating the myth of Eros and Psyche, and precious Empire-style furniture made especially for Villa Pisani. Other highlights include the dining room where the table is set with a dinner service used by the Napoleonic court. In the centre is a precious alabaster centrepiece in neoclassical style.
