This popular Lincoln Park outdoor space is most known for its Wizard of Oz statues and the constant influx of moms and toddlers moving about. The 13-acre park is home to sculptures of the Tin Man, Dorothy, Toto, and Scarecrow. However, it is not just about the beloved characters. Here, visitors can play tennis, basketball, baseball, soccer and football. Beloved children's book author Lyman Frank Baum wrote many of his books in Chicago and the park received the name in 1976, two years after it opened.
