Established in 1968, Malmö Isstadion is an indoor sports arena host to a number of sporting and cultural events. Boasting of a seating capacity of 5800, the arena was designed by the architects Sten Samuelson and Fritz Jaenecke and was once also home to to the Malmö RedHawks. Besides national sporting events, international sporting events like European Figure Skating Championships and 2014 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships as well as cultural events like Eurovision Song Contest have also been hosted here.
