TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The Royal Monastery of Santa Clara is located in the Valladolid village of Tordesillas on the banks of the Douro River. It is considered to be one of the best buildings in Castilla reflecting Mudejar architecture. The monastery is attached to the Mudejar palace and was a residence for several women of high nobility. During that time, it also received donations and royal privileges. Also, the site has some best preserved Arab baths in the vicinity. The royal site is open for public visits except on Mondays.
