TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Along the shores of the massive Lake Neusiedl lies the small but scenic town of Rust. The tower of the local catholic church dominates the skyline, and one can go up top and observe the storks, which seem to dominate the town's rooftops. Also known for their vintage wines, look for bottles with letter 'R' marked on their corks, for its a centuries old tradition that continues to this day. Other than the wine tasting and stork-watching, a stroll among the cobbled lanes and observing the rustic houses is also a complete delight. Â
