Set in a listed colonial-style building which was formerly an 18th-century army barracks, Innkeeper's Lodge Maidstone is just a 15-minute walk to Maidstone city centre, and features free private parking. Cask ales and freshly cooked seasonal dishes are served in the on-site Vintage Inns pub and restaurant, which features an outdoor terrace for the summer months. A traditional Sunday roast is also available as well as continental buffet breakfasts. A flat-screen TV, en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at Innkeeper's Lodge Maidstone. Maidstone city centre is home to Leeds Castle, which boasts 500 acres of scenic parkland and a popular golf course. Theatres, bars and a large shopping centre are also on offer. Canoes can be taken along the River Medway, and paddle boat trips are also available.
