Characteristic of the valley is the superposition of geologically more recent layers of stone by older formations. Therefore, a visit to the Mineral Museum in the village of Teis is quite interesting. The Villnöss Valley ends in the mountain backdrop of the impressive Geisler group, which is part of the Puez-Geisler Nature Park.
