A lofty architectural spectacle, the Fisher Building is an icon and an important landmark studding the city's skyline. An elegant structure showcasing architectural ingenuity and artistic craftsmanship, it also looms over the landscape with a height of 428 feet (130 m). A jewel designed by Albert Kahn Associates with Joseph Nathaniel French as the architect, the building commands attention from its visitors. Featuring an Art Deco style of architecture with sumptuous interiors washed in golden tones and intricate geometric designs, this building is aptly known as "Detroit's Largest Art Object.” Finding a place on the list of National Historic Landmarks, this magnificent building is a beautiful beacon combining art, culture, and history. It is also renowned for housing the Fisher Theater, a grand performing arts venue.
