TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
One of the most striking churches of the city, Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament is an example of Gothic Revival architecture. Completed by architects, Henry A. Walsh and George Diehl, the church is a sandstone structure with certain parts constructed out of Indiana Limestone. The interior of the church is quite expansive and is well illuminated with colorful beams of light pouring in through the stained glasses. Apart from its architecture, Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament is known for its 19th-century organ that is at the center of many cultural events here.
