East Memorial Stadium opened in 1922, is a multipurpose arena. The stadium was built as a tribute to the martyrs of Kansas University in the second world war. The stadium hosts football, lacrosse, rugby and soccer tournaments for its home team. It was primarily owned by the university and is the home field of Kansas State Wildcats. After its home team moved to the university stadium, the stadium is now used as a practice ground for march pass rallies and also for certain cultural events.
