One of the most beautiful lakes in South Tyrol, Pragser Wildsee sits surrounded by Felsberg and Niederdorf of the Puster Valley. From the parking lot, a pathway leads through the dense green forest to a point that opens up to the mesmerizing lake. Lush dark green forests, massive mountain rocks, and clear waters take the breath away. From this point, one can choose three different viewpoints to observe the lake and the surrounding panorama. One is by a mountain trail that goes 3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles), the second is by the Dolomites high route to view the entire place from above the lake, and the third is to ride one of the historic boats available to reach the center of the lake and have a 360-degree view of the beautiful lake and its surrounding mountains. With spellbinding scenery, the pristine lake is no less than magical.
