King Caesar Home is the residence home of Ezra Weston II and his wife. Weston was known as King Caesar for his mastery in shipbuilding and shipping. Post being the residence home, the ownership changed many hands to finally land in the hands of the former director of the American Museum of Natural History in New York. In 1937, Dr. Hermon Carey took efforts to restore the mansion to its originality. In 1945, the house again shifted ownership to Emil Weber and Elizabeth Weber-Fulop. In 1960, Duxbury Rural and Historical Society accepted their offer to sell the house.
