A former distillery which was established in 1859, West Overton Village currently functions as a museum focusing on the evolution of the American economy from being primarily an agrarian society to an exporter of high-end spirits and other alcoholic beverages. The site includes a house and estate where legendary coal and coke tycoon Henry Clay Frick was born. Also a popular event venue, The West Overton Village has hosted numerous weddings and private ceremonies and continues to do so.
